“Seduction only works when that person has a heart.”
– Jin Bu Yao
Alone, Pang Wan entered the Jiang Hu. Her dream was to become a pure lady, to find her destined other half.
To fulfill this dream, everyday, she would dress elegantly in white and sit in the teahouse to admire handsome men and read her novels.
She heard, the demonesses related to Jiang Hu were all, depending on their martial arts capabilities, divided into groups of three, six and nine.
Currently, the evil woman, who had the beauty of a blossoming flower, who had a heart like snakes and scorpions, who could kill at such a young age, was a once in a century’s peerless demoness.
She also heard that the demoness had came down the mountains to challenge the Wu Lin champion Gu Xi Ju, to take the title of number one and to wreck havoc in the Jiang Hu.
Yet again she heard that all those who had decent martial arts skills vowed to get rid of this witch.
Aiyaya, it’s not good! Isn’t this demoness her? She did not kill the person! She did not start the fire!
This infamous name of the demoness is also not what she wanted!
Looks like, Jiang Hu’s road is very curved, she better run!

Its been a while since I posted any reviews for a translation. So as my real life took another heavy toll on me I decided to visit Shusheng bar to find have my badly needed dose of relaxation. and my eyes settles on Jianghu Road is Curved! by 影照 Ying Zhao. I know the title seems uncatchy to the eyes but boy wont you never regret starting this.
The translator apparently had a poll done. choosing between Jianghu Road , Curved White Calculation and Emperor’s Conquest as their next project. And I am very contented, this won in the end. I’m looking forward to Curved White Calculation after this is over but lets not get over ourselves. Now back on track
For the record this has 70 chapter and 3 side stories. As of this week its almost done actually 64 chapters released. Not much waiting needed there 🙂

CAVEAT! This has some spoilers so If you dont want to get spoiled (Duh ) 🙂 then go ahead and ignore down below
The book is as usually of course, covers my taste (time travelling and the whole shebang). Reading this gets you a feeling of ups and downs, sadness, excitements,WTF moments. Everything just gets jumbled up, really. Its not really a usual light read kind of book so if you’re really into this, get this and settle down.
And the characters, huh I cannot lo. First of all, I did not expect that. I set sailed on the wrong ship! I did! Ugh 😦 Im actually having mixed feeling right know, feels like crying for the wrong ship at the same time I cant find myself hating him.(Ergo my hope is settled on the 3 chapters not yet released)
After everything he did to Pang Wan,betraying , manipulating (his actions really do somewhat fall into a the category of a psychopath)her I still keep having this shrivel of hope that maybe, just maybe there is still hope in him. That maybe he isn’t really all honest to goodness evil. Im hoping theirs probably something on his past that made him who he is in the present. Now on the other hand, the male lead what really not who and what I expected.:)
My favorite part in the novel was the part where the female lead and the male lead had an argument. Not the heavy stuff more like we are arguing cause its fun kind of way and the female leads teacher at that time smile as she heard them from the outside room
On the soil slope by the shore, someone comfortably brushes aside the lotus leaf covering their face, revealing a beautifully fair face of glowing radiance.
Jin Bu Yao listens to the sound of quarrelling from a distance, by her cheeks, there hangs a trace of an undetectably faint smile.
“This lullaby sure is good.” She vaguely mutters, not caring about the greenish mud under her body, as she falls into sweet sleep just like that.
