Eastern Skies – Prologue

This is the third book of Fantastic TV series, I’m sorry that I skipped the second, but I just could not bring myself to translate Brenna’s story. Not just yet, maybe someday but definitely not this time J I’m not supposed to hate her character but I do (Ugh).

So I skipped and went too translate the third book. This is the part two of the series. It’s called Magic Realms which consists of four parts.

Each story has more or less a connection on each book. According to Arielle, each novel is solely focused on the four elements of the ancient time.

Air, Water, Fire and Earth

And this is somewhat also connected to their titles.

Eastern Skies

Northern Fires

Southern Storms

Earth Goddess

TLS: The title itself makes someone want to read the story, ain’t I right? Haha

PS I’ll be posting the first chapter third book in the next few  daysJ

This is the story if Shigure Mirai you’ve met him on the first book J

From the window in her room, Midnight got a glimpse of her sister, Dawn. She just came back from a date. This started when she broke up with his cheating boyfriend. Dawn started to go on dates with different guys, her fingers couldn’t count anymore how many times she went on a date. Guys already started to line up once the word that she is single was out.

Even their parents don’t mind Dawn’s playfulness. There reason ,they trust her sister enough and they’d rather see her like that than Dawn be depressed on her break up.

Silently, she watched what was happening outside from her window. Usually, Dawn would give her date a goodnight kiss. She gave her date a kiss on the cheek then went inside the house. Midnight sighed and shook her head in dismay. The kiss on the cheek means that there won’t be a second time date, not a third one at that. The man she went on a date that night probably didn’t pass Dawn’s taste. If she kissed her on the lips, there might still be a chance, but seeing it was on the cheeks.

Poor guy.

It’s not that she could blame her sister if she’s quite choosy at the moment. His last boyfriend was handsome, brainy and belongs to one of the well-known family in Denver.

Her sister would never choose a man below that standard.

And besides, Dawn is  quite a catch, they won’t feel any loss going out with her. Her sister was not only beautiful, she was also smart  and beloved by all. Any man who happens to get a glimpse on her would, always look back.

Dawn is hot! That’s a fact carved in stone.

She has dark green eyes and long red hair locks. You won’t miss her even from afar. His boyfriend must be kicking himself now for being a fool but there’s nary a chance Dawn would take him back.

Dawn’s not a fool, there’s a lot of fish in the sea.

Again she sighed.  She turned around and saw herself in a mirror placed on her wall. She and her sister were opposites. She looks so ordinary. From her pale blonde hair, to blue eyes that just seems so dull. It didn’t help that cheeks are so full of freckles, and her braces, ugh, every time she smiles she would look so weird.

Looking at the sky, midnight saw a shooting star.

She closed her eyes and fervently wished upon it.

When I hit puberty please make my freckles go away and make her turn out like her sister. A beautiful lady.

Midnight heard the sound of the man’s car getting further away.

I don’t wish to be as beautiful as her, just make me meet a man I could marry. A fine-looking, strong, rich man who would love me with all his life.

Someone I could call mine.
